About the Eurovision Family of Events
In 1956, the first ever Eurovision Song Contest took place. It took 47 years before the first ever Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place and in 2007, the third member of the Eurovision Family of Events was launched; the Eurovision Dance Contest.
From now on, we can speak about an actual Eurovision Family. The new official Junior Eurovision Song Contest website, the Eurovision Song Contest website and Eurovision Dance Contest website are closely linked to eachother. For example, anyone with a MyEurovision account can then log on to the three websites using the same email address and password.
The logos of the three events are also related to eachother, as you can see at the bottom of the page.
